Drusy Quartz often looks like glittering snow or sugar crystals and is the rarest of the quartz gemstones. This necklace is made from a large Drusy Quartz in a blue/green color. Generally, Drusy Quartz  is white or clear, so this green solar patterned stone is unique.

I wanted to wire wrap this stunning piece in a way as to show off the beautiful color and pattern of this highly sought after gemstone. So, I used heavier silver wire and swirled it into circles to draw attention to the natural solar circles in the stone itself. I also wanted to be sure the glittering ‘sugar’-like edges were visible so they could sparkle and shine in the light. Then, I added a toggle clasp to hold it securely.

This Drusy Quartz is only polished on the front so even looking at the back, its easy to see how the colors permeate through the entire stone. As with all my jewelry, this is also one-of-a-kind so you may want to grab it before someone else does. When its gone; its gone!
