Labradorite is an amazingly colorful gemstone and reacts beautifully in the light to exhibit the complete spectrum of colors containing blue, green, yellow, orange, red, and even purple. This stone originally came from the Canadian peninsula of Labrador but has since been found in Finland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Norway and Madagascar. Its hardness level is 5 to 6.
