Another Rutilated Quartz necklace enters the scene. This teardrop shaped Quartz is large enough to actually see the black needle-like inclusions inside without holding it up to the light and they’re exceptional! I pictured it with various colored backgrounds so you can see how they show through the transparent areas of this beautiful pendant, all of which make this gemstone that much more appealing. I’ve used golden wire and a black cord with coordinating golden lobster clasp to show off this beauty.
Quartz is mostly found in Brazil, China, South Africa, Madagascar, Australia, Canada, the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Russia and its hardness level is 7.
