Description
Septarian stones are very unique and have individual patterns. I used black wire to wrap this cabochon and a black chain to bring attention to the beautiful black veins in the stone itself. I also used my ‘package’ design by adding golden brown glass beads to symbolize the ribbons, as if its a gift. The final step was adding the coordinating black lobster clasp. In the pictures, I’ve also included a photo of the back of this striking stone to show you how the veins follow throughout the entire stone.
Septarian stones are found in only a very few places in the world. They are only located in Madagascar, Morocco, and in the United States in Southern Utah near Zion National Park. Its a softer stone measuring 3 to 4 out of 10 on the Hardness Scale.
