Description

With this particular Unakite gemstone, I used the beautiful conglomeration of its pink and green colors as the focus of this piece of jewelry. The square shape made it perfect for wire wrapping. I used silver wire to wrap it with decorative swirls and added small glass beads for just a bit of ‘bling’. The silver lobster clasp and chain for adjustments match the wire wrapping nicely.

Unakite is a pink and green granitic rock that can be found on Lake Superior shores and in the river valleys of Virginia. Its hardness is 6 to 7.
